We may need to repeat the process. Nests can be 1 bin bag to 7 bin bags full!!
If you suspect a nest – do not light a fire. It will be dangerous to your health and a potential fire risk. It can cause poisonous gasses to enter the room as there will be an insufficient draw.

Smoke Testing
After your chimney has been swept and cleared of all soot and debris, a smoke draw test is carried out.
This involves warning the flue up with a blow torch. A smoke pellet is then added inside the stove or open fire. This is to check the efficancy of the draw and to identify any faults which would cause fumes to escape into the room.
All smoke should be seen leaving the pot this will happen after every sweep.
